The -ing list

August 8, 2013

I came across the -ing list from visiting Cathy Zielske's blog today, she came across the idea from Elise Cripe's blog.  It looked fun, so I wanted to give it a go for myself.

preparing for the start of a new school year.  Aubrey is starting kindergarten and Hunter is a 2nd grader. And I have just two semester's left on my Master's program.

wishing that I could add a few more weeks to the summer.  I'm not ready for the craziness of homework to start.

looking forward to my mother-in-laws arrival next week.  The girls are very excited that Grandma Pat is coming for a visit.

wanting one of these, really bad.  I'm telling myself that if I had the ability to print out photos and digi pages/cards at home (and from my iphone and ipad via wifi); I would be better able at documenting our life (Project Life style).

watching old Castle episodes.  I can't get enough of this show.

needing to get my hair cut, but trying to decide if I just want a trim or if I'm going shorter.

cleaning out my kitchen cabinets and drawers.  Lots of purging going on at my house.

watching Hunter work on her cartwheel at gymnastics.  I love watching her confidence grow as she gets better and is able to do things she once thought she couldn't do.

deciding what my next crochet project will be.  I am almost done with with Block O (go Bucks!) granny square blanket I'm making for my mom.  And although, I won't have a lot of time to work on a crochet project when school starts, I like knowing I have it there, whenever I can steal a few minutes to work on it. Working with the hook and yarn is so relaxing and calms my mind.

loving the macro shots I've been able to capture on my iphone recently and longing for more time to be able to explore nature and add to my collection.
